The Science of Sleep
November 16, 2007
So, here is my first post.
Sleep, this is’nt something i seem to do very well, I dont really want to sleep. There are so many other things I could be doing with my time. I like being in bed and relaxing but not sleeping. I understand that I have to sleep, that its an essential process my body must go through to regenerate and repair etc, but if there was a way I could not sleep ever again with out it affecting my body or mind then I would do it without a thought.
Winter is finaly here, the shutters at work instantly freeze my hands, that how I know its here, also its freezing in my shop, uncomfotably so.
I am currently on a spree of watching DVDs, probably because I now have a DVD play that works, and the nice man in the shop made it multi region (he is one of my customers)
In the last week I have watched:
Exorcist
Exorcist 2 – this is a laughably awful film.
Exorcits 3
Exorcist – the begining
Dominion (same film as the begining, made by someone esle as begingin was really shit, this wasnt much better)
Ong-Bak – amazing martial arts film, I recomend watching it.
Ghost in the Shell – Stand alone complex. – great! but I wish the tachicomas would come back, I like em.
I may be going to veiw potential sites for susspensions with Alex next week, which may mean I get to do a chest pull, I want to try this before susspending, I really like the athstetics of it.
I also recently descovered the fruit/veg shop round the corner from work sell scotch bonnet chillis, oh yes.
They now grace all my cooking, food never hurt so good.
